I've always given my lot cabbage stalks to eat, as well as celery ends, but there are conflicting thoughts on t'interweb.
What do you think? Is cabbage bad (small amounts, obviously)?

I've never fed the leaves to a pony as my cousins pony was fed some by people off the campsite and it had an awful affect for him - bottom waste that was basically water and a very unhappy pony. The stalks do seem to be fine though, even the bug can cope with them. I think in small amounts most things are fine, I give the gang chocolate and bananas and Sunshine loves his beefy crisps that he gets off my cousins little boy when they visit obvs we're more careful with Savs but everything in moderation  . |

Mine have all had cabbage numerous times with no ill effects. Eddie won't touch any greens though but the minis love a Sunday with leftover veg peel and leaves
