Well i have just brought Sky back into work after her break. Today was her second hack and again she has been fantastic. This horse just continues to amaze me ;D. I have never known a baby so relaxed about things and we were on our own as we have no one to ride with in the week. The roads are quiet were i live so we don't see much traffic but we do see big things(tractor, lorries). Today we had a tractor and trailer go past us and she didn't bat an eye lid at it ;D. She isn't 4 till April so i always expect her to be a bit jumpy at things and she just carries on walking like nothing is there. My phone rang and she didn't even notice it, although she took advantage and wandered a bit as i only had one hand on the reins as i answered it . I think i have a fantastic little horse with her and i am definitely going to have lots of fun with her over the years ;D

She sounds lovely! I hope she goes on like this and doesn't have the 'Flaming Fives'! Racaille was an angel until he hit five and then ... boy But he's just a moron all round.

I've owned her for just over a year. She was 2.5 when i bought her from a gypsy, unusually she hadn't had anything done with her. She has come back from her break really well and she seems to be enjoying being back in work. She has her ears forward all the time, she is such a happy horse.

She has been amazing again today ;D. There was quite a bit going on today, a lorry went past us, there was a very noisy train, a horse went past twice and a couple of cars. As usual she was a star ;D. Love this little horse ;D. I did nearly come out the side door though, she shied at something. I haven't got a clue what it was as i didn't see or hear anything in the hedge, i was on the bridlepath at the time. It took me completely by surprise which is why i lost my balance . Never thought i would nearly fall off Sky!! My daughter laughed at me. Will be just my luck that she will turn into a devil as she gets older .

Ah yes, I've got a daughter who laughs at me too! Re the shying, it is often the little rustle in the hedge that spooks them more than anything obvious, isn't it? I keep saying about Paco: you can land a helicopter next to him (yes, it's been done) and he is as steady as a rock, but if there is a small pile of earth that 'suddenly appears' on a well know path, he can be a real divvy!
