I have just discovered Hay Blox from Halleys Feeds www.halleysfeeds.co.uk/they are about 6" square and as thick as an average hardback book but are compressed hay that I have started to feed in the field rather than carting masses of hay up the hill. They last a couple of hours so keep them entertained as well. My neighbour has started hiding one in a hay net at night and she says it is half eaten overnight so one lasts 2 nights, when amongst other hay. So easy and would be great for those on fresh air diets etc.

I was looking at those the other day. I was reading that the Halleys feed ones are Simple Systems (Halleys supply SS) but cheaper. Any more feedback on how long they last would be great

Scatty do you want me to post you one to try?
Costs £8 for a bag - I think there are 12 in a bag

If you contact halleys they are brilliant and will send you free samples of whatever you want. I feed the timothy hay chop and just got another order, but looks like instead of 2 bags of chop I have a bag of blox and a bag of chop. It's pouring rain and dark so I'll investigate properly in the morning, but I've been thinking to getting some blox so it's maybe a happy coincidence. Which of the blox is it you use fi?
