Today is the last day that i work with alot of my colleagues.

My company has lost the contract to maintain the North West motorway technology systems. Its been taken over by the giant that is Balfour Beatty.

I have been lucky and managed to get another position within my company. Others will join Balfours due to TUPE rights.

Unfortunately some dear friends will be made redundant and thats the bit that hurts the most. Balfours are reducing the numbers by 48%.. Just in time for Xmas too!!!

Not fun! A friend was so embarased as it was her O/H who had made the decission. Hope it all settles down soon.
