I know I've posted a lot of questions lately, but you lot help so juch that its worth asking your opinion (bisindes, you've all had different experiences so its good to get an all-round view of stuff before you dive in feet first).
Anyway, just bought Faith some Keratex Hoof Hardener (as recommended by the farrier and just wondered what people thought of it. Have any of you had any experience with it? Did it work? etc etc

Absolutely brilliant stuff. I use it on Doof every summer and it really helps with the cracking. You do have to be quite religious about applying it though. Unfortunately this year her feet had started cracking before I got some. Using that combined with Farriers Formula made such a difference (expensive though!) but the HH lasts forever.

if its one you put on te inside of the hoof too, put it on the inside first, then the outside, so you dont lift up the hoof when its all sticky !!

Tried it but didn't like it as it didn't seem to work to prevent cracking. I just use a hoof moisturizer now and everything is fine.
