I have abandoned the club and am starting with a freelance trainer nearby - she's just mail to tell me that the first event of the year will be a TREC training day on October 21. Yippee! It's very close (I did a trial run with loading P yesterday and he was lovely although he can tell when it's real or a dummy run ) and I'm hoping I can meet some like-minded people. It's great to start the season with a training day, I'm really looking forward to it!

Apparently there will be about 10 of us and we'll all take something to share for lunch (plus wine) so it should be a very jolly get-together!
Sooooooo excited! ;D

Sounds really good. Hope they are a nice crowd. Like the idea of wine and riding!

;D Rac, that sounds like a lot of fun. We have training days but nothing that involves the civlised wine quaffing approach!!! Love the French style.. Enjoy......

Even more excited now that the weather forecast is good: 24C and sunny. Absolutely perfect weather! Paco is fit (enough) but I will do some practice loading with him today.
Then just got to pack up the picnic to share and a bottle and I'm off! ;D
