Your mission, should you choose to accept it, it to find me a chunky black bridle that doesn't have a crank noseband or a flash (ie plain cavesson)
Has to be quite chunky as I have a big warmblood who'd look silly in a fine bridle. I can't find one anywhere without a crank!

have you tried the robinsons catalogue or rideaway one? they had some larger bridles. i have the opposite problem, need thin bridles for my arabs and can only find bridles with chunky nosebands

on ebay there is a really chunky cavasson in brown by Ebay shop heritage custom made saddles & Bridles, they may do black but couldnt see any on their site. could always email them to see

Aimee - fern's has a flash loop and is a crank noseband and I'm after one with neither!

try pink equine, they do black pearly padding which is basically a black bridle, theyre really supple from the start, easy to clean and have got chunky nose and browbands.
i have the same problem, other bridles make sox's face look ridiculously chunky x
