sox had a bit of a "greyhound" belly a couple of months ago but has been slowly putting weight on, but seeing her every day its hard to see how skinny or fat shes getting, and she puts weight on round her neck and bum, so weightape only shows very small increase   hows that? ignore the clutter, was show morning and was busy trying to get everything sorted! xx |

But this gives a pretty good guide of what to specifically look for in 6 areas. It helps you to become less emotionally attached to the final scoring. BTW I think he looks lovely in the piccie. It's hard to tell from a picture but he could be carrying a little extra weight (his bum looks very apple shaped) but then he is a cobby type. I'd need to have a feel to say for certain. :-) |

As joandlad says it is difficult to tell from a pic a horses condition but I would say he doesn't need any more weight than he has Z

I think he looks well for a horse in spring. He doesnt need to put any more on I would say, but he is not overweight and you would expect him to lose a little over the summer/in the winter...it is always healthier to be slightly under then over, particularly with a native...
he is gorgeous lovely. ;D
