Braved the piddling rain again today to go to the local showjumping. Entered 50-60cm jumping & agility - basically jump half the course, do a bit of handy pony and then finish the course, and 60-70cm pre novice.
We arrived just as the agility was starting so rushed to get ready and had a very quick warm up before it was time to go. Jumps were not too scary at all and Eddie did her usual stuff and took me round clear. It was a one round class with the fastest time wins....and we won Was so chuffed.
Then was straight to the next class. Unfortunately we had one down - a pesky lime green and white jump that Eddie touches every time - don't know if she can't judge the height as its quite pale? It is our cursed fence lol. But finished the round and was pleased with myself as the last two fences had looked very ominous to me on the ground. But good old Ed looked after me - I did grab a handful of mane lol.
But I'm actually starting to enjoy this jumping lark now - who'd have thought it.
No pics of us jumping unfortunately. My friend took a video so hopefully will get a copy of that soon.

And it's all thanks to Eddie. She's teaching me so much - mainly how to trust her to do her job.
