Hey everyone! So...I totally found this forum by chance after googling "horse forums UK" I've loved horses since I was a little girl & have loaned several ponies in my lifetime and when I was 17 had a cob x mare bought for me who, due to awful circumstances had to be sold which, as those of you who have been forced to sell horses will know is a devastating experience Anyhoo, I have recently bought a palomino sec c yearling who I am absolutely besotted with despite him being a little sod! His name is Cwmmawr Konan, but his friends call him Dappy We're slowly getting to know one another and he's coming along very well (or he will once he is relieved of his manhood, until then he is very much your typical colt!! So here he is, hope you all like him ...I just HAD to share this one I took earlier this week...he's a special child!!!

Gosh he is smart! Lovely little lad. My friend had a 'c' who she adored. An old instructor of mine took one to medium dressage too. Great characters.

Thanks everyone for such a lovely welcome! ;D Zara - I'm in Lancashire, right at the top virtually Cumbrian territory! Fimacg - yes, massive character but he's so cute he gets away with it!! He was gelded this afternoon given he was becoming a liability - where I keep him there are two mares and he was becoming difficult to say the very least! So he's currently sulking, minus his "bits" and has silver spray on his doodle which makes him look like he has a bionic thing!!

Gosh I haven't been on this forum in forever (waaaay too much uni work - anyone who thinks we students are slackers it's not true!). And I still see lovely messages from you all thanks so much guys. My lad is doing very well, we've changed his name though, he's now "Konan" to match his show name as we decided Dappy made him sound like some chav-pony! Need to get some new pics posted soon as we think he's turning sooty palomino like his grandad; Aberaeron Idris (google him if you can, he's lush!) so I'm really excited about that!

BJTequestrian - personally I don't think you can beat native ponies, Welshies in particular have the biggest & best personalities out there! He's 17 months on the 30th of this month I'm heading back home for a break from uni on Friday so fully intend to get snap happy & get some recent photos to share!
