My OH has gone to Grmany to stay with a friend for the weekend so I have FREEDOM  I would have gone too but unfortunately I have to work on Tuesday. However, the YO is letting me have Cav for the weekend so I get to ride and spend time with him tomorrow, Sunday and Monday  It's great when my sister and I can ride out together. |

I do still have to pay, which is fine as she does have a business to run, but I can go out when I want with the people I want to. Such a nice change!
He was threatened with the glue factory and becoming dog meat today though. The girls couldn't catch him this morning so they left him in the field and forgot about him. It took me over half an hour to catch him as he kept hiding behind another horse.

I have to say that I have had a blast this weekend despite being soaked in yesterday's rain and caught out in a hail storm (in a teeshirt) this morning.
V and I were almost ready to go out at 10am yesterday when V was asked to take out one of the rides. Only 3 people had booked but a further 9 had turned up for the 1 hour hack, far too many to go out at once. So we ended up doing the 10 - 11 and then the 11 - 12 hacks. It was a good laugh even if we did get thouroughly soaked! We then headed off to York for a barbeque. My brother actually managed to cook in the rain. He insisted that he had to burn meat outside, it must be a man thing.
Today we just had a lovely saunter around. Yesterday's rain had at least softened the tracks so it wasn't as hard. Cav was a little angel and has a reprive from becoming dog meat. We jumped a few puddles which is always fun and managed to go through the one he always thinks he is going to drown in.
One day I will remember to take a camera out so I can post some pics of our tracks.

My sister is just the best! We don't often get to go out as just the two of us unfortunately. Not yet...there will come a day when your OH has agreed to your horsey and I think if Cav is available then he would be perfect  . |
