Bitting advice (again!)

Right I need some bitting help

Rose is great in one of these for schooling and out walk and when she doesnt feel like being silly trotting as well.

But I would want something a bit stronger so I am not pulling on her mouth so much when she decided ignore me.

I tried her back in her lozenge dutch gag on second hole the other day for a hack and although she listens she just throws her head up in evasion.
Although felt happy enough to have a little canter and was slow enough which was good, cause lately all she wants to do is bolt of at extreme speeds, and has started to actually feel like I have no control, which normally isn't the case as I know I pull but have always felt that I could stop at some point.

I was thinking about trying a neue shcule verbindend as I think this would suit her mouth better and hopefully she takes to it. But would it give me the brakes I need?

Need something to be able to give me some brakes without me hauling on her mouth for jumping, fast hack work and xc. (not asking for much )

The verbindend would not give you much more control than the bit you school in IMO. I use one for schooling and it is great, lifts their shoulders and helps with turning, I wouldn't hack out in it though! For that NS have invented the universal gag which is brilliant, like a dutch gag but you can add a leather curb strap for extra brakes. Love NS. Only snag they are expensive.

Yeah I found a verbindend for £52 off ebay.

Yep, don't use the curb strap but would if I was jumping not that I will be doing that now. But the universal is an excellent bit. I was lucky I got one second hand for £40.

yeah i just looked around on ebay and there alot of money! but if they do the job then probably worth it. I want to find somewhere though that i can try first as dont want to spend all that and she still doesnt respect it, because i know what she is like!

anyone got a full membership for preloved?

Echo Sols advice above, I use same bits for same purposes and they suit very well. they are a lot cheaper than KK which are the next similar version. I think Neue schule copied them.

now to try find one thats cheap. There is an verbindend for £40 on preloved but im not a full member

Yeah ive been meaning to visit bit world. Well hacked out yesterday in the snaffle ad im not going to do it again. I was so glad to be home.

When in a bit she constantly open and closes her bottom lip. When she evade I found out by help of some sun. She throws her head up with her mouth open.
Got back home though and she did some fantastic school work!

Don't know if we've asked this before, but have you even considered trying her bitless? If it's the bit she evades then if you can ride minus the bit then technically there's nothing to evade...
