Not sure what he has been up to but turned them all out in the big field today, it was very wet so they all look like hippos now but Sam also has a swollen face around his eye and blood coming out of his nostril. Not sure if its a kick or he has banged his head falling over, he has some graze marks on his side also so think it may be a bang. Hi is a tough old so and so though as he has eaten all his tea and is tucking into his hay now, despite looking as though he has done rounds with Mike Tyson.  Will see what he is like tomorrow as he is well in himself so think its just bruising etc. |

All fine now, bit of swelling and scrapes but nothing serious. Funny you should say that Sol, a friend visited today and was saying how lovely he is! I dont see it as he is still the gawky, too 'ripped' for his age baby I bought. but it made me look again and he is so my type. And such a lovely fella too. He and Toudle share a stable and they are a pleasure to do. Very laid back and friendly. Cant wait to start him again, think he will be a star!
