HI, Got really really frustrated on other forum but this is already easier- wheehee! Im 42, got a two year old son and a four year old TB- Basil who Im just starting to retrain as he raced until summer last year (not very well- didnt want to be a racehorse!) Live in East Yorkshire- very flat and floods but quite like it. Ridden for years but only just decided to own again as work commitments stopped me previously. Teach free lance when I can motivate myself but other than that like to do dressage and whatever Basil proves adept at! looking forward to this forum- are we renegades?

Lucky you - near Lanhydrock! do you get to ride round the grounds? My yard mate competes at Lanhydrock and has won it a couple of times...
I haven't been to any shows yet - only got my new boy 3 months ago and am building up my confidence after four years of incompatible horses! Hope to get to some (and ladock) probably next summer - its all I can do to go for a hack on my own at the moment!!
What do you do with yours?

hi.. yes very lucky we ride in the lanhydrock grounds all the time.lots of woods and off road riding but the down side is it is full of holiday makers and they all want to chat and pat the horses. we are just happy hackers and go to gymkannas and i plan some showing and small jumping this summer.we are taking the miniture horse to royal cornwall for fun.she is so naughty but we are hoping she will behave on the day...baymare.

If this forum reaches the giddy height the previous one was tottering on before it collapsed, you won't have time to be shy, baymare!
