That my cousin is in the Canadian men's beach volleyball team. They won their match today 2-0 against GB. Go Martin!

Woooow for your cousin!! Someone my sister used to go to primary school with is competing for the ladies swimming team . Missed the ccompetition yesterday but have told the freeview box to record all the rest so maybe we can catch a glimpse of her!

My Gran was Canadian and my Grandad English. My Mum and her brothers and sisters were brought up in Uganda but moved back to the UK when she was 16. After a while my Grandparents moved to Canada and my Mum's younger brother and sister went with them, Mum stayed here and her older brother moved to NZ. It's a bit of a far flung family.

Whoop whoop! to compete at that level must be amazing, even if the beach volleyball still seems to be the butt (no pun intended) of all the Olympic jokes

I am half Canadian, well my Mum was born a Canadian in Newfoundland but has a British passport. So I can cheer for both!

Nooo, they are out Did anyone see their match against Brasil? It was real edge of the seat stuff. The second set went to 24:22 (against Canada)
