... in leaps and bounds - quite literally! as she is getting fitter she is really loving her work and I am enjoying her more every time I ride her. we have been off exploring the local area and found lots of great rides and one fabby field with big humpy hills which are great for hill work but she loves going up hates going down and if she can she will bounce down with all 4 legs off the ground! rather disconcerting the first time I must say! She is getting better as she gets fitter though!
She is just so good that you can go out alone or in company and she does not put a foot wrong - i am just a finding it sooooo hard to stick to my fittening program but I know its for the best. but oh how I long for a gallop! I think she will be awesome.
With crappy weather we are way behind in the fittning - been unbeleivably wet and arena is flooded so no evening riding but 2 weeks ago I said enough - hell or high water we go out - takes us longer to dress for the elements some days than it does to actually ride
schooled in the only dry paddock yesterday - just 20 minutes suppling work in walk and trot BUT there was a titchy wee x pole up and I could not resist popping it! not realy clear on what jumping she has done but I think a bit - she just came to it a lovely rhythm and flew it! cue mega smile from me and supreme self control not to keep doing it!! ;D ;D ;D
will put some pics up but the video which is all of 3 seconds long is taking all night to load.
