I dont think for one minute that if you had spent the time I did with her you would be so keen on her at all.
The glamour thing is no problem at all but the other stuff she was doing was so way out of order its hard to believe she hasnt been exposed for it long ago.
I am not going to post on a public forum her actions but I will defend to the death my right to describe her as a poor role model and a traitor to all the women in the world.
I am also not going to rant on about her any more.
Sorry I know I can be a twit but I think she is evil and I saw it with my own eyes.

Prasygow, I totally agree with you. However all my friends admire her- I guess because she is the manipulator in a situation where usually the woman is the victim. Don't know about evil but definitily not a role model in my view

as a teenager i don't see her as a good role model. neither do i see the size 0 girls as good role models. i guess my main inspriation is Jonny Wilkinson and zara phillips, both exceptional sports people that have worked bloody hard to get where they are and they have had setbacks that they have fought back from. that is a good role model

And how many times has Katie Price ever ridden a horse?  ? Perhaps a few (as far as I know). I think it will be interesting to see what she comes up with...*crosses fingers for no more pink please* she has her own and has a lesson every week. |

Yes I think Katie Price is Ok. She's a very astute business woman and although she wouldn't be a role model for me. (Even if i was 20 years younger) I would prefer my daughter to aspire to a Katie Price life than to some of the so called celebrities out there who are anorexic or bullemic or drugged up to the eyeballs.

I don't hate her but I think she is a bad role model on the account of all her surgery and weight loss she has had recently. I do agree she is very sucessfull and I'm interested in her clothing range as I'm hoping for something different to wear riding that fits and is girlie!!! Katie please take note!!

I admire her for how hard she has worked for what she has. I may not agree with everything she does but thankfully I have the intelligence to make my own choices based on the information available to me and quite simply if there is a market for what she promotes then good on her for seeing that and going there.
Nobody will be forced to buy her gear and am damn sure no-one would buy half the clothes etc that they do if they knew the truth behind how they come about etc.
prasygow- if you are going to make allegations then please give the full story otherwise it looks like you are bitter and being nasty for the sake of it. I would rather have the role model of someone who works hard and looks after their family - albeit in front of the cameras- than some anorexic ladies who do nothing but pout and wear expensive clothes.
And I saw Katie price wearing the same pj's as me from Primark in closer last month!! I must be her role model!!lol

Role models.....hmmm let me think!
We live in a world where the media promote footballers who swear, spit and resort to sporting violence and make and spend obscene amounts of money, flaunt their starved painted wives and girlfriends and generally act like pains in the ar*e both in and out of the spotlight.
No Katie Price isnt my role model and never will be- nor would I suggest she be a role model for anyone- but I repeat my first comment- there are far worse role models out there.
And I agree with the other members Prasygow- Rule 1. dont allude to something you are not prepared to validate, and if you cant because of legal reasons then rule 1. applies.
You are entitled to your opinion but to try to justify it is worthless if you cant back it up!

She looks a little over-horsed at moment (he was taking the micky a bit) but I bet you in about a year she will look cracking! She will get some good tuition and come on leaps and bounds! Must have been awful for her knowing she was being filmed. If I thought I was being scrutinized by all and sundry doing a test Id be a wreck!
Where did her breasts go- what bra is she wearing? If its part of her range-even if it is pink- then Im having one! they didnt move!

Agree with you brig and I would be a wreck too being filmed it's bad enough doing your first test but in the public eye yikes!!! I thought she did well.
I'd like that sort of bra too? What sort is it?? Anyone??? Us busty ladies are crying out for one!!!!

i always thought that you couldnt ride if you had had implants. my friends aunty had breast cancer and had them removed. she was offered reconstruction and have implants but was told she could not ride with implants. maybe it is different if it is reconstruction. |
