Is it a clear snot? I know Murphy had this earlier in the year and the vet thought it could have been linked his hay (dusty) although he did have respitatory issues too. I used Olbas oil too but it was when I started to give him more grass turnout and soak his hay it cleared up within a few weeks. I hope it settles down soon for the big lad.

Mine occasionally have a bit of clear runny stuff but never noticed anything more bar when Murph had a respitatory virus when it was green...yuk.
Hope Pete's okay.

Thanks folks only one nostril affected. He is fine in himself. Enjoyed his steam today. He is turned out DB and not eating hay at the moment. Hopefully it's only a mild hiccup.

JS had a very snotty nose for a few days. YO said that it often happens at this time of year. It cleared up no problem after a few days.
The comment of 'last time I saw that much snot the horse had strangles' from another livery was not really appreciated,.
