Had the dentist last night do do the neds. Was a bit dubious about Ed as her owner said she needs to be sedated for it. Told the dentist this so we said see how we go. Well she was a lamb! Slightly objected a couple of times bt nothing more than twisting her head but most of it let Faye do it all without a bother. Didin't need much doing, just a couple of rough edges. Flossy was brilliant and again not much to do, a couple of hooks and a smooth over. However, who played up the most and is going to cost a fortune.....yep, the 'cheap' companion!!! Poor little Harvey doesn't look like he's had his teeth seen to in a looong time. He needs a lot doing (nothing major and quick do do if he behaves) but unfortunately he rather objected to having things stuck in his mouth and kept rearing - no doubt it wasn't very comfortable poor duck. So we've got to get the vet out to sedate him and get Faye back so she can do the work without risking cutting his mouth with the files. Poor little boy. Ho hum, another vets bill!! Thankfully this ones split!

Ah bless him poor little H! My friend's 26 year old shettie has just had four teeth out. I think they are like small dogs, less room for their choppers!
