Thanks Fi, it's for a Finance Manager post with an IT outsourcing company. It sounds quite interesting and is not too far from home which is a bonus. The only problem with a skirt is that I don't own any Internet shopping here I come, oh no - smart flat shoes needed too.

My interview has been postponed. The guy from the agency only thought to tell me yesterday at 6pm after I emailed for details (eg where to go.) His actual words were 'Soooo sorry, I forgot to let you know...' That really annoys me as I feel it shows a lack of respect for those of us looking for work. Ggrrrr.

that is rude. It does show a lack of respect as well. Hope it is re scheduled soon.

There are a few like that Fi. I got told yesterday by a company's receptionist that the person I wanted to talk to about an application was 'Too busy to talk to you'. If anyone who worked for me said something like that I would be mortified. Far better to tell little white lies like 'she's in meetings all day and may not be able to contact you today but I will make sure they know you called'. Maybe I'm just getting too sensitive about it

No, not sensitive - just better at her job than she is!
