Hey - sorry to be a pest
right, i'm having trouble with my history teacher - basically me and her just clash. all the time.
she's really loud, and a "in your face" kind of person, and i'm shy untill you get to know me.
she's taught me for a while now, and she's always annoyed me, but its getting to the point now where i am missing most of my history lessons because i get sent out
today, for instance, she moved everyone in the class around, and sat me far away from my friends, who all got to sit next to eachother, but tbh i wasnt that bothered, i didnt really think anything of it.
then she asked us a question and said, "Lily - i can see you've answered it, what have you put?"
so i said, "i havent finished it yet miss, sorry."
so she stood there looking at me, before yelling, "well get it done then!"
two minutes later she re-asks me, so i read my answer out of my book.
then she said, "no - i want you to read out what you've just wrote down!"
so i said "that is what i've just wrote down"
she shook her hed, and said, "well it doesn't make sense"
so i didnt bother, i just thought, well, when she tells us the right answer i will just jot it down so i know in the future.
so she asks sean, sean said almost the exact same thing as me, and he got "well done! you're so clever"
its sooo annoying! then later on she asked me another question which i answered, and then i got sent out, because "i dont listen, and i am rude"
i honestly do listen, because history is my worst subject, and although i hate it i do want to pass. and i genuinely dont think i am rude, im too quiet to answer back...
i don't know what to do! i cant stand the teacher, but i do try.
just in case you were wondering about my answer to the question it was:
people liked the american GI's because they were friendly, nice and open to the british way of life. they enjoyed socialising with british people. although they were popular, british troops were often jealous as they got paid more.
the correct answer ( which in my opnion is almost the same) is:
people liked the GI's , especially women because they brought them presents and socialised, whereas some men were jealou as the GI's were offered more social opportunties.
so any advice?
(btw, sorry, i've noticed every time i post its negative )
