Just what the doctored ordered it was! Was a bit worried about behaviour as not ridden since last weekend due to various reasons mainly being under the weather (had an allergic reaction to cleg bites, followed by our ofsted inspection and just generally run down) then murph got ate alive by the bloody things too as too hot for his rug. anyhows I digress, didn't even know if he'd let me tack up as still covered in bites but he didn't seem to mind so we set off....it was beautiful - warm but a nice cool breeze under the trees and despite the week off both were very calm and sensible so we decided to wander a bit further than normal and up into the far side of woods. Took in the old site of St Edwins Chapel (now just a memorial) Harry was non too impressed lol and wouldn't stand to read it apparantly local history is not high on his list of interests! In all we were out about 3 and half hours maybe a little longer and boy do I ache now, thats all really just a lovely morning to be out and about.
