following on from spottis question about whether or not fleas new car had a name i was just wondering what do you call your cars/vehicles???
i have had princess flowers I & II and now have sally the saxo. all my friends have named their cars, currently we have brian, princess fifi II, cilla, bonnie, poppy and the mobile blackcurrant. at home the cars have always had names and it just seemed the norm and i must admit that i was rather shocked when flea said her car didnt have a name!!!!!

He he - my sisters baked bean coloured Chevrolet Matiz is called 'the bean' because it just looks like a bean lol. Green versions of the same car are known as 'peas' or 'green beans' or , we'e even seen 'frozen beans' (frosty blue), 'kidney beans' (maroon/deep purple), 'bling beans' (gold lol), and lots of others...as you can tell, we're easily entertained

My little peugoet 106 is called suzi And she is a pain most of the time, as sometimes she judt decided that she doesnt want to start for a bit so its a bit annoying and embarrasing if people are around! spesh busy petrol stations! But still cant complain bout her for a 99 reg petrol she has done 91400 Miles!

My Micra was called Tank - it managed to write off a Range Rover and an Audi without getting barely a scratch on it (not me driving!!) My next car was an Astra I called Grandad (my grandpa had sold it to me) And my latest little Clio. Well it doesn't really have a name. Nothings ever suited it - but I do talk to it. and 'cluck' to it like a horse when we go up hills. And I 'jump' speed bumps. Not mad really - just a horse owner!!

Thank you for making me feel better about myself. My OH thinks I'm touched. He could be right. My corolla is called Omar, with the letters OMR in the reg he couln't be anything else really.

when i was learning to drive i remember telling my mum that speed bumps were easy - it was like jumping a fence, she asked what i meant so i said it was simple: you need to have a good approach in ordewr to get the perfect take off flight and landing before taking the appropriate line to the next one.
she wasnt at all amused, asked if i had been drinking and then reminded me that i shouldnt be going over speed bumps at speed (so why call them speed bumps and not slow bumps??) before shaking her head and demanding she drove when i started leaning forwards over the speed bumps!!!!!!

Quite often name my cars but i usually have to like them. They tend to be along the lines of dolly or daisy diesel. The exception is the horror that we have at the mo cos of the reg is called slug!

before that we had the "grean bitch" i hated that car,it never ran right.
and then we had ronnie frontera sport, the love of my life,i loved her so much that i cried when we sold her,but couldnt get all kids in the car so it was either sell the car or the kids!!!!
