Just booked my fist one! And now I'm proper excited!   Is there anything I'll need to do before hand, or anything I'll need to take with me? Also, what am I likely to do in my first lesson? What did you do? Sorry, had to share. Eeeek, so excited! |

as long as you take both parts of your license you will have the right stuff with you.
you will most likely learn some clutch control and how to set the car up for you - mirrors, seat position etc.
where will you be driving and i shall keep well clear?!?!!?

Good luck with the lesson Spotti. When is it? It might sound obvious but wear shoes that are comfortable with very little or no heel until you get used to it.

Both parts of your license and a good sense of humour. On my first lesson I crashed into a skip but usually your DI will help you out in those situations. I love driving it is great fun!

Part of our wall has already been knocked down (someone else drove into it) so me thinks the rest of it may be in danger very soon lol! Shame as we are getting new gates put on. |

BD - you crashed into a skip? Oh dear...I'm thinking the lamp post outside my house is in danger yea my first driving instructor wasn't great and didn't help me at all even on my first lesson. Current one is great though and actually lets me drive on national speed limit roads which is AWESOME!! |
