Today I was supposed to be flying to Portugal So, thought we could nip across to France via ferry instead, but Brittany ferries have put their prices up to an extortionate amount!!! (Profittering........*X!*#) Tomorrow we have a slim chance of a short break in Wales! If that comes off then Im a monkeys uncle! I love my spring breaks- how dare a volcano interfere? ?

It is rather irritating but i know i'd rather be here on the ground rather than up in the air in a plane that might crash into the earth. I suppose these things happen, theres nothing to be done except wait (unless someone has doctor who's phone number A week in wales sounds fun, its a really beautiful country and it means not waiting for ages at the airport. Every volcano explosion has a silver lining .

Sorry to hear your plans have been spoiled. I hope you get sorted for Wales, I suppose just getting away will be good. I'm not sure what the weather for the next week is like but if it stays dry it should be good. I've never been to Wales but have heard so much about how beautiful it is.
My brother was going to watch the Ulster rugby match in Glasgow on Friday night and had to take the boat instead of the plane as all cancelled. My bro-in-law is stuck in Kenya and can't get home either. Its amazing how many people have been effected. I have heard that is getting worse too so God knows how long it will cause problems.

Oh that is rotten luck. It's caused chaos for so many people. Well if the weather stays like it has been this weekend Wales will be lovely. Not quite Portugal though.
