I have a dentists appointment tomorrow Theres nothing I like less then going to see them. I was thinkin about askin the vet to take a look for us at least hes nice and not scary. Might just be us but we always seem to end up with dentists who enjoy inflicting pain Def. shouldn't be alloud power tools.

Funny, i am really excited about my next dentists (well, orthodontist) appointment because GUESS WHAT? I am finally getting my braces off - yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

My OH went today cos he had a pain. Turns out his wisdom teeth are growing horizontally and he has an infection under the gum...Will prob be specialist surgery to remove it. So I think I'm further put off. When I was younger I had 13 teeth out, and 2 sets of braces and I'm terrified too. They wanted to do more but I'd had enough. My Mum makes the appointment for me and tells me the day before we go, otherwise I lay awake at night and worry

Yay! for the braces coming off Flea! Thats the best bit about having them,,,getting them off! It feels wierd to start with, like you have cushions in your mouth. Are you going to start by eating lots and lots of toffees? ;D

I used to be terrified of the dentist - same as you FL - mum couldnt have told me until we were in the car on the way and id be sitting with the tears streaming down my face. I never thought id get braces on but i have and its been like ive overcome a fear.

It was weird when i got them on because i felt like i couldnt shut my mouth or talk and i had to constantly adjust my lips to sit over them lol!! I felt like a granny with no teeth
