.....but thankfully no one was hurt. Strange accident if truth be told - I was coming onto my road after being to the shop and took a bend at approx 5mph and just slid into the grass verge - minor damage. I got home and realising I'd forgotten something my hubby decided he'd go back and get it, only to slid at the very same place causing quite a lot of damage The roads here are awful, so it was bound to happen. It has left me very nervous driving now tho!! I wouldn't be out if it wasn't for Murphy needing his dinner and needing tesco supplies. I hope everyone else has been safe on the roads

OMG DB!! Glad youre all right. I remember that happened my friends mum a few years ago except they went right over and she wont drive in the frost now.
I have been having to get a lift to the town and get the bus to school from there on thursday and fri - looks like ill be doing that for a while to come! The bus usually comes round the country roads and takes me to school but it hasnt been doing that - luckily we are only 100 yards or so away from a B road which is gritted and that takes us straight to the town so am able to get the bus.

DB, I'm so glad you are OK and no one hurt, there is an amazing amount of ice around, I watched the car in front of us turn a corner (slowly) onto a side road and do a very graceful complete 360 fortunately no on else about and they bounced of the kerb.

Glad you're OK DB. Even my OH (who is usually a very safe driver) went up the kerb yesterday. Nearly hit a garden wall! Roads are just lethal.

Caramba - glad you are both OK DB. I too had a bit of a mishap yesterday - drifted round a bend and slid gently into a parked car. Luckily no visible damage but very embarrassing, right in the centre of the village.

Glad you're both okay. You can't go too far without seeing an accident lately. I always thank God it wasn't me! It's awfull when the car slides and all you can do is wait and see what happens. When is this bad weather going to stop?
