My New Years resolution is to concentrate on my health; exercise, proper sleeps, diet and all the rest. A second resolution is to follow a plan of action; training, exercising, nutrition etc. for my horses. Jazz and Hunter to be fitted up for endurance riding, Keeper to train for basic riding 101 which will include trail riding, introduce him to Dressage and find someone who will want to show him. Gryphondor, who really hates being called little fella (he's 13.2) but is fine with El Grande Poupalot will be worked and trained so I can use him as a lesson pony. 3rd resolution is to take all that I'm working for and enter some serious endurance rides. ;D 4th resolution is to get a few pupils and teach them total horsemanship. Not just how to tack up and trot and jump but also conformation, farrier, vet, horse psychology, nutrition and anything else I can throw at them. Mmmmm, I think that's enough.

Mine are/will be: 1) Keep riding! It's doing my back the world of good and seems to be helping Faith's too 2) Help C keep her non-offical part-loan/share that she's got going on with H for George, and also keep hacking out with them because the pair of them are brill!!! 3) Go out hacking on our own again...not sure when/why it happened but for some reason it all seems a bit scary now :S 4) Go and see the doctor about my gluten intolerance (I know its there and wha it is/how to manage it, but I want it confirmed so people can stop questioning my judgement!). 5) Do something big, maybe for charity...hmm...

after today, i think it will have to be clean my tack more and wear more makeup!! Seriously, I have loads (destined to be broken alas) but on a horsey front 1. get lessons - real proper lessons maybe including lunge lessons or lessons on a school master so that I can get the feel of things done correctly rather than me just imaging how it should be 2. get a lot fitter- get back to my yoga and start something aerobic (something cheap like walking/running) 3. manage my time better so that I can get riding more, especially come spring 4. clean tack more often

Mine are all quite similar and not just resolutions for this year but some from last which I want to carry on for as long as I am able:
1. More exercise to get some weight off 2. Continue ride and improve - push myself out of my comfort zone a bit. 3. Don't pressure myself 4. Grab every opportunity that comes my way 5. Do what I want and what I enjoy, not what other people think I should do
