Oh good luck We've been out for the past few days, snow or no snow, and both Faith and George have been brilliant - infact more sensible than usual!

YAY! Cant wait to hear about it. At least it gave her a good long time to settle in I was looking to go out on a hack today as well but the roads are still too icy even though most of it has melted away. Maybe tomorrow...

I hope you have a great hack. The weather here is still frosty and snowy so not much chance of getting out for a few days at least

Thats fantastic scatty, hope it goes as well today.
Still no riding for me as snow is gone but the ice shows no sign of following suit and is lethal to say the least...OH fell over on lane this morning...he was taking dog up to report back to me whether boys would be able to get out later on...I hadn't even got over gate when i heard the thud

FL I have got lucky! Went out on our own yesterday and she was brilliant. Didn't spook at anything. Even when a field of horses came running down beside us she jogged forward a little but that was it. Shes lovely and forward with it. Great in traffic. Think I've got a good un It feels a bit strange riding something smaller and her neck is very short and fat - I can touch her ears ;D

Thanks Haffy, I am just aching but yes, apparently we are in for another dollop of snow.... oh whoopedy doo... not... I am fed up now and so need to ride, haven't been out for two weeks.
Suppose I will have a lively ride when I do eventually get out.

I think having lost my confidence before, you just know if you feel 'right' on a horse straight away. That first one I tried I knew within 10 seconds that he wasn't for me. Yet with Eddie I just felt comfortable straight away - same with Patrick, I just sensed he would look after me. Apparently more snow on the way for the new year Just got the poo clear after the last lot!

I am delighted that Edwina is proving a little gem - she sounds as if she is going a whole lot of fun and I hope she is as you certainly deserve it. On the other hand, I am so envious of people who can get out riding - weather here is still artic and the ice hasn't melted in the last 2 weeks - the roads are ice rinks and the arena is frozen solid (even though it has a rubber mix-) I am getting so used to temps of -5 that when it reaches 1 or 2, I think it is quite warm!! It is so fraustrated being on holiday and not able to get riding!!!!

Bril news Scatty that you and Eddie have hit it off!!! She sounds super - just what you deserve. Good luck ;D As far as riding goes it's a no-go up here I am afraid....still minus three at noon and -7 overnight....just horrid... I bet it is worse still for maxi though. Long range forecast says 12 January before there is a beak in it..
