Sorry Flea no idea - I have one sitting on my desk upstairs that I've never figured out! I'm sure the library would help you. Or our Tescos have one, their photo shop is usually good and quite helpful. They will put your prints on to a disk for you.

I take it your scanner is all plugged in and set up, right?

If so, what I do with mine is simply open the top of the scanner and put in what I want to scan. The computer picks up that the scanner has been opened and automatically opens the program that runs it. I then wait a minute for the computer to catch up (it's old lol so you have to be patient!) and then click on 'preview', which does a quick scan of what I've put in the scanner to make sure it's what I'm want. Then I click 'full scan' and it scan th picture onto the computer. Once on, you can usually fiddle with it and alter he brightness, size an shape etc and then choose where to save it to (in your case, your usb stick). Then TA DA!

If that fails then tell me what scanner you've got, what the computer does when you try to us the scanner and basically what you did and I'll try my best to talk you through it

(my dad's a bit of a computer geek and I've picked up a thing or two from him lol)

If it doesn't work just by opening the scanner, ask someone at the library...they should know how to do it!

But then again, thats just me lol. And if you can't figure it, ask someone - I'm sure SOMEONE must know how to use the silly things!
