I Have just had a really good lesson on Pete. Love sharing success with you then I can look back when bad times come which with horses they inevitably do! Before my lesson last time I had started to think that maybe I had got as far as I was going to with my RI, was even contemplating pleading poverty and stopping lessons. Last lesson however restored my faith and I didn't expect today to be anywhere near as good. Today that fab little chap has been doing the most lovely rhythmic trot he has ever done. He listened to me doing leg yield, slowing down without gnashing his bit! He trotted over poles beautifully engaging his hocks, and thinking about his work. I think I did ok too! Really pleased and happy Life is good!!

He sounds like he is becoming a dressage horse! I bet he looks beautiful doing it. I'm glad you had a really great lesson there aren't many things better than the feeling after having a good lesson ;D Are you tempted to try a bit of dreassage with him?
