I'm convinced dentists are a nasty, horrible, wicked bunch. Just been and my mouth and teeth hurt more now than they did before I went to see them...  I didn't have any lunch so I'm hungry, they then put some stuff of my gums which means I am not allowed to eat for half an hour, but then because I have an infection they have given me antibiotics which make you feel sick if you don't eat and you have to drink pints of water to offset any effects. The evil bunch... appologies to any dentists out there... |

I don't like dentists either, orthodontists are worse thought they mean to cause you pain. The only time i've ever wanted a zip and a padlock on my mouth was when i went to have my braces tightened

Fimacg - why did you post this??? It is a conspiracy!! I got a reminder from my dentist this morning that I haven't had my 6 monthly check up for about 2 years!! I was feeling bad about it and then I read your thread - its definitely a message!!
Seriously, you poor thing - hope you feel loads better now and yes, they are are (a necessary) evil.

argh! im going to get my braces off tomorrow - sooo excited!
I have a nice orthodontist and a nice dentist but i had a horrible mean one before that who yelled at us. I never thought id be (almost) cured of my fear of dentists, but its thanks to the nice ones i have now.

We have an ace dentist but i'm still scared lol. My first orthodontist has sausages for fingers and insisted and trying to stick all his fingers in my mouth at one. I have a big gob but not that big. My last orthodontist was better but i still didn't like him

Fi, that sounds traumatic - I get goosebumps even thinking of Dentists! Hope your feeling better soon.

I have a nice dentist now. He doesn't rip you off, either. My last one was mega expensive and I can't believe the pain she could inflict just cleaning my teeth!

I have an appointment on friday for 2 fillings but one of the teeth has been pretty sore over the last 2 days so hoping it lasts until them! I so dont want an abcess in my tooth - had this before and was awful.
