Anybody watch Derren Brown - The Event tonight on Channel 4? I didnt get stuck but it was a bit strange i thought. Who got stuck?  Really interesting TV - perhaps useful for my psychology course lol!! |

not me - I thought what a load of **** when I watched it but as he was speaking did you see the screen flick and an image appear very briefly - I hit pause afterwards but too late to see what it actually was.

fi - yeah i saw that. It looked like a picture of a person sitting in a chair so i suppose it was to tell your subconscious to be stuck or something like that.

the image flashed up 3 times and it was a cartoon person tied to a chair.
I didn't get stuck exactly but I didn't want to leave my chair and felt like someone was sitting on me and my OH had to pull me out of the chair, I lost all the feeling in my legs.
But the thing where he had to stack the numbers in an order and pick a chair and a pen. I got those all right, down to the number order which freaked people out....

everyone was sh*tting themselves when they were stuck!! I think i must have blinked when the blinky image came on the screen thats why it didnt work. ah well. Its very interesting anyway!

I've only just managed to watch last week's programme. I didn't get stuck and I did see the pictures that flashed up.
