This was our first hack out in 4 weeks and it went pretty well. I met a couple of girls at the new yard who offered me to join them, it was great having company as it didn't make me quite so nervous. It was only walking for approx 25 mins on the road and he managed without any problems - no dipping or clicking of the joints (maybe the supplement is working). Going out tomorrow for a similar type hack, so hopefully he'll be the same and all going well I think I'm going to get the injections (oooppppsss don't want to get a head of myself). I felt great, I just want it to continue now.

That is brilliant, we did a quiet walk only hack today too. It is still great fun just being with our beloved gee gees.

The weather has been really poor here today (lashing down) and I couldn't get Murphy out for a ride as he was soaked but I took him for a walk for about 25mins up the road - a little hill work. He walked well - no dipping that I could tell of and no clicking of the bones. I was supposed to ride him twice this weekend but due to the weather I've only managed once, plus one in hand walk - do you think this is satisfactory exercisce or does it only count if I'm on board?

That should be just fine, DB. You're only walking him so it doesn't really matter too much if you didn't manage to get on board. The good thing is that he's still improving. Well done you! You're obviously taking good care of him and following the vet's instructions to the letter.
