start doing something then wish to God you'd never started it! I decided to treat my outdoor furniture today. I have blisters on my hands (from sanding) my back kills (from sitting in a stooped position all day) and my furniture... wel lets say its still not finished and doesn't look anything like the picture on the front of the stain tin!! Why do these things always seem like a great idea at the time!

Bet you have a glow of satisfaction as well as the blisters. (well I always do when I do horrible jobs)

I painted our summer seat one saturday when we had the really good weather but didnt get it finished. Dad decided I didnt do it right and finished it off for me even though i had offered to paint it because i wanted to!! Very cross about that I was!!

housework. I'm all for quiting about a half hour into cleaning. The problem is I like things neat, clean and organized I just don't like making it neat, clean and organized.

All the time. And I am incapable of leaving something unfinished so I just grump on.... Mind you, I have learned to love the silvery look of weathered teak. That way you don't have to treat it ;D

I ahve totally the opposite problem...I am such a lazy mare i never get the things started in the first place...I think about it then put it off till tomorrow.
Just had 7 weeks almost off and my house is a filthy tip still and the under stair cupboard contents emptied from having the new boiler are mostly still in the front 'posh' living room where we rarely go. Out of sight out of mind lol. Think the OH dispairs... but doesn't sort it either...!
