I got Murphy's teeth done last Wednesday and the vet noticed he had an absess. I asked about antibiotics but he said I'd be probably wasting my money. He advised I should just use salt & water swished around his mouth - I know this is probably very simple but I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing. Do I use a suringe? How much salt / water? Any tips are welcome.

Yep - stick it in a large syringe! I hate salt and water, I had to take it when I got my back tooth out and it was minging but its like antibacterial and it helps! But taste is awful - still horses lick salt so it probly wont be anything to them.
