You find yourself counting strides to reach the bottom step/doorway/crack in paving slab. And wonder why people look at you funny when you put in an extra small step to get that perfect 'take off' (And the worse thing is I haven't jumped a real horse in years!!) OMG I do that and I only just realised!

Funny you should say that as i do get twitchy when i'm away from horses for any length of time My OH has also accused me of withdrawal symptoms.

You realise that you know all about your friend's horses and nothing about their kids I did (and still do to some extent) with people at uni...I know the name of their horse and all about him/her but half of the time I cannot remember their name!!!
