for putting up with me for the past few months.

i have ranted at you - lots.

i have moaned at you - lots.

i have started lots of randoms that you have all put up with. (i bumped my fave one up for you to all read again, now wont that be a treat )

you guys have listened to me.

you have given me advice.

you have helped me make some really hard decisions.

you have cheered me up no end when ever i have felt own.

you have put up with me being accident prone and regulary injuing myself.

you have made me laugh

you have made me cry

but most importantly you have always been there for me no matter what.


i thought i would just say this as i was reading through some really old threads in members only and non horsey chat and just reading through them all made me cry through sadness as well as laughter, every single post made me smile and think - i really love these guys, i feel so much closer to them than some real people (you get what i mean) and i honestly wouldnt be the person i am today if it wasnt for you guys.

i really cant beleive that you can put up with me, especially when im in a hyper mood and lucy is hanging around, thats when most of the hyper out of control randoms start, i tried to apologize for it once and someone said that i couldnt do serious for more than 5 mins, well just for the record i can - ten minutes ive been trying to type this post and make it sound right - but someone else said that if there was no random posts started then there would be nothing to cheer them up, whether they were just saying that or not i really dont know.

i think what im trying to say guys is thank you to some for setting the forum up, thank you to others for joining the forum, thank you for creating this sanctury where i can be myself the whole time, and thank you for being my friends.

and now im being a great big dafty and have started crying.

i do thank the mods for creating this forum and i don't think it's said enough how much we appreciate the work and effort they put into keeping it running so we have somewhere to chat.

also i have been extremley down lately after deciding to leave college and having problems in other areas of my life and this forum has really been a lifeline cos i can come on here and read of all your acheivements and i feel so proud to know you all even if i will never meet some of you i class you all as my friends.

Thanks for everything you guys. My friends mean the world to me, real life or internet based

My hubby often wonders why I have a constant smile on my face while on the laptop & very often it's down to you and your witty posts. I too feel like you tho, what a place this little forum is - a true santuary & for me it's a place to hang out with my horsey friends - & you all are my friends ;D Long may it continue. Awww, I too really enjoy this forum, I count you guys as my friends, who can offer impartial advice (on almost any subject), you make me laugh and occasionally cry. You have helped me be able to come to terms with Figaro's loss, for a year I couldn't even mention his name without falling apart, now I feel I can remember and smile.

The thing I love about this place is its diversity - there are SO many different types of peeps on it, thats what makes it special, and there is room for all...always balanced.

I, hand on heart, wonder whether I would have got through my confidence crisis without you lot, and I mean that. I wonder whetehr i would still be riding as it got to such a low point. Living in Cornwall in a very small yard (and horsey peeps down here are quite cliquey and bitchy hactually) I had no-one to talk to about it and you guys seriously helped. Cant say thanks enough, you've given me back my pleasure in riding, and for the first time in my life I have people to share it all with, the ups and downs (coz lets face it there are always both where horses are concerned).

This place rocks and its each and every valued member in her that makes it rock.

i agree with fi in that you are all considered very good friends always there with advice ready and waiting for someone to just ask.

brig is right about everyone has a different background and a different veiw/piece of advice to go with it for a huge number of problems/questions.


i must say im glad people dont mind me being a bit normal you know, i like being hyper and being me and not having to conform to things that im not - its an added bonus that it puts a smile on peoples faces!!

I've said it time and time again that this place rocks! And the people here make it rock!

I get some very funny looks when I'm sat smiling away at my computer, or when I start rambling on about you guys and all of your horses etc etc (especailly when I can't remember your real names lol) but do you know what? I DON'T CARE!

I love all you guys - each and every one of you - and like everyone else has said, I class you all as my very good friends, even though we've never really met (but I have 'known' some of you for a good year and a half from the old YH forum and you've known so much more about me and my life than many of my 'real' friends have) but its always you guys that I can't wait to tell about my day, be it good or bad, so I think that's gotta count for something!!!!

And like Ceej, I don't think I'd be riding right now if it wasn't for you guys; I wouldn't still have Faith (I would have given up only 2 weeks into being an official horse owner); I would not know even a tenth of the stuff I know now and there is no way in hell that I would anywhere near as happy! ;D

So thanks you lot, you always make my day ;D

here here i agree with all of you, this a great forum and i would really be lost with out it!!!!
i never really see anyother horsey peep's were i live so here is where i want too be!!!!
even if you have a problem , they will help you sort it too (ceej and other's know what i mean) they are the best!!! i love everyone here and just wish i lived closer all of you!!!!

This is a brilliant group of lovely caring and as someone else said, very diverse and different people. If it wasn't for the internet we would never had met...
