Having a rotten day

Sorry to burden you all on here but I just want to say that I am feeling pretty crap today.

Yesterday I was made redundant... company closed it's doors forever..... have been job hunting all morning and come monday will start in earnest.

I suppose something will come up but it is just so sad, I had been there 11 years.

Well my lovely OH has given me some money so I can go and have a drink later - drown those sorrows.. haha.

Ah well upwards and onwards...

That's awful Jane - I feel so sorry for you. There seems to be quite a few business closing their doors and there will most likely be a few more what with the current financial climate. Big hugs & all the luck in the world in finding a new job asap. x

Thanks guys.... I will get a pay-off but apparently because of christmas we won't get anything till the end of january... oh joy.

Spotti - you are right (every cloud has...) and I will be able to do more hacking, however can you believe it, it just hasn't stopped raining here and I mean absolutely throwing it down... I nearly went out today but in the end thought even I am not that mad, and Deb's was like 'I'd rather stay here and munch some hay, thank you very much"... sensible girl!

Still I have sorted all my hay out today and have far more than I thought so less to think about.
