no , not a whisper. some one suggested he was stolen to order or put to a mare who has lost a foal. One day some where he will turn up. But they said that about the missing race horse whos name escapes me for the moment, and that was years ago. x

Shergar's fate is still a mystery. Wherever this little one went, I hope he survived and is living a contented life but it would be nice if he could be reunited with his rightful owner. The not knowing must be awful for her.

I ahve never read that version of Shergars fate either, I wish i ahdn't now. The someone siring foals is much nicer.
