Fun story 4 u guys...
We've all been living in fear of the new cat on the block that keeps wandering round the garden and have recently been implementing a 'no rabbit loose unless watched' policy. This means that Toffee bunny who is usually let out with dog in morn n has most of day pottering round large garden now gets only a few hrs outside. A fact he is not happy about. The useless guard dog is not at all in to chasing cats n u actually have to wind her up play fighting to get a growl or bark out of her! So the new cat has free range of the whole garden...
But, hav just been sitting out watching clouds go by with bun flop n went in to grab a drink...left him only few mins n saw cat on lawn thru window! Argh!
Started to race back out when saw Toff flying across lawn to get in (he has run of conservatory as he's kinda a house rabbit atm - don't ask :S ) . Door's shut as I reach it n no sign of bunny!?! Only to launch myself out door to see Toff sat quite happily behind barking dog?!
1. Dog does NOT barkat anything...eva!
2. Toffee is sat behind her whilst she's barking her head off?! rather than scurrying 4 one of the bushes/trees/garage/open run in corner?!?!
(They rn't usually bothered to even notice each other but Tess tends to keep her distance unless food about when she'll move him!)
Can just imagine cat's face going from 'yum, tasty fat rabbit' to 'omg, DOG!!!' He he he
Rabbit is back having full run of garden again. Cat can just sod ryt off! If he's smart enough to go hide behind Tess once then I'm sure he can manage it again! Yay 4 clever bunnies who have big friends!
