Theres a big black beetle crawling across the lounge. *hastily picks feet up off the floor and calls the cat*

My head was itching when out riding. Thought nothing of it as sometimes wearing a riding hat has that effect (I think it's cos you know you can't be bothered to take it off and scratch). Anyway, when I got back I took my hat off and pulled a big black beetle off my head! I screamed, threw it on the ground in front of my horse and stamped on it about 25 times. When I looked up, my horse was looking at me with that disgusted look on his face and everyone was really laughing at me! ;D

It's 4am ish and I've just made myself a cuppa, but first had to squish a scorpion scuttling across the kitchen floor. Luckily, the chickens love to eat them.

Chickens eat scorpions? I think I'm developing a new respect for the humble chicken.
