Huh! Having finished my piece on whether childless people are happier than parents, I have to say that today I know which side I would come down on ......... So if ever you are tempted to look at a baby and say 'aaah' , don't forget that they grow up into teenagers. Teenagers are the devil's own spawn. PS I love them madly, obviously, but sometimes I just want to go ... aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgggggggggggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!

I'd like to read it as well. Can you put it on your Blog?
As for teenagers, it's a well known fact that your darling, sweet, loving little girl or boy are stolen by aliens as they approach puberty. Your child's body remains but inside are the aliens children and the aliens have all your sweet darling little ones.
There is hope though because around the age of initial adulthood you will get your children back.
Live with hope and good cheer, and rejoice when you look at the teenager in your care because he/she is not really yours at all.

I'd like to read it as well. Can you put it on your Blog? Can't I'm afraid, as the Daily Telegraph now owns the copyright and syndication rights. But I'll try and remember to put a link to it on their website when it's published.

Oh my god! BABY'S! NOOOOOOOOOOOOO! ahem , sorry had a mild panic attack then. This is what i always remind myself when i coo over babys , they grow up and are not baby's forever, i have no patience with kids , there's a five year old who lives a couple of doors down from me and just the sound of his voice makes me want to scream , i sound evil don't i , well i am a teenager ( ha ha !) although i would like a little girl when i'm older , i've already picked a name , Lilly emily and my surname and for a boy Oscar james and my surname , i don't really want to say my surname as i hate it .

kids.....urgggggggg......the ones during the day are bad enough but at least they go home at 3.15 (or more like 3.30 in some cases!)
The thought of getting fat, all that pain and then puke and poo no thank you.
Do any of you actually think babies are really cute/nice (not sure of an appropritae word heer)? Or do people just say it - because they all look like wrinkly prunes if you ask me and I just can't see the 'gooy' appeal.

They don't appeal to me at all. I've never felt broody or thought that the old body clock is ticking loudly.
