Oh a horrible start to day  Drove up to yard to do horses at 6 this morning and always have to play dodgems with the rabbits on lane. This morning I clipped one. Got out and the poor thing was dragging its self along with its back legs sprawled out behind screaming. Obviously hit it back end and done its back legs in Had nothing to hit it over head with so had to run car over it to put it out misery. It was only a baby ! Felt physicaly sick but couldnt leave it like that  |

Yew, that's really horrible for you! I'm not sure I'd have been brave enough to go over it again. These things happen. Don't feel bad.

Oh I'm waiting for me to do this any day, I live in the country and there have been a few close collisions!! Good on you for not letting the poor wee thing suffer  Hope you don't feel too bad. Big hugs. x |

Aww its horrible isnt it, but its a good thing you put it out of its misery. We have some with Mixi (?) come to our field sometimes and we have to call some bloke from up the road to dunk it in a bucket as none of us has the stomach to do it. Poor things but they cant see anything so will end up either getting run over or caught by fox/dog and they are so terrified that its just kinder to do it yourself. |
