I've got another interview

I had an interview this morning at Bradford Uni and I've just found out that they want me back on Tuesday for the 2nd round ;D. The only problem is that I have to do a presentation

Thanks guys. I don't know what it's on yet, they will email me today. No doubt something evil about University finances. Why is it that you always seem to do best for the jobs you don't really want?

Good luck Kitcat!!! - A little advice re: presentation - When presenting always stand, I was told they can't mark you down for sitting but take it from me you definitely are. It shows that you are more confident if you stand and it actually makes you more focused, less fidgety and relax much better. I have done a few!!!!!

Thanks for the tip Dannyboy. It's silly really, I can sit around a table with loads of people and talk through a subject but the minute I have to stand up in front of the same people and talk about the same thing I go to pieces. Must remember to take the rescue remedy.

Only positive thing about an interview / presentation for a new employer is - you probably don't know anyone. It really is alot worse when you go for a job within your existing company as you really don't want to make an ar*e of yourself. Defo recommend the rescue remedy!!! Good Luck for Tues if I'm not speaking to you before then. x

what have you got too lose? if you dont get the job you will never see them again, if you do they liked what you did.

So pretend you telling them about horses, if the subject is something has two sides to it make sure you aren't biased, put as much effort into both sides even if you totally disagree.

and smile and nod, not the whole way through haha. if you are trying to pesuade some one something it is good smile and nod as you say it

eg in the pub i work in. you want someone to buy a large glass of wine instead of a small. you say "large?" with a smile and a single nod
