Was doing a bit of trotting schooling in the field last night on Murph (4yrs old, now backed 4 months). There is an old silage bale in the middle of the field that has been there years. It's the first time Murph's seen it so he was a bit apprehensive about going past it but he was well behaved and went past after a bit of a look. He was going so calmy I thought I'd try a canter. We've cantered a couple of times in the school but not out in the big wide world. I had a cunning plan of cantering him towards the scary bale in the hope he would be backing off and less likely to gallop off.  Plan worked brilliantly. ;D Lovely controlled canter. ;D Very proud mummy. ;D |

Oh yay!!! that so cool...bless him!!! ;D ;D ;D
His breeder was asking after him the other day (he was one of her faves) she asked if she could have a photo of him under tack to show people when they come to look at his brothers and sisters....would you mind if I passed one on? Think I have one in my e-mails....

He is the bestest horse in the whole world. ;D Apologies to all other horses on here. I'm sure he'll do something to resign himself back to the ranks of right royal pain in the @rse any time soon. Ceej - Oh blimey. No problem sending her piccies. Although he doesn't exactly look good in the pics I sent to you. The ones of him standing still aren't too bad but I don't think anyone would be impressed by the ones with him moving along with his nose poked out in front. Give me a few months and I'll hopefully have some more refined ones.  |

OK next nice one you get....I think she just says its to show other poeple - he really was a fave of hers!!!

Sush!! Don't say the B word! :-) We've not had a repeat performance for a while so I'm hoping that phase is now passed. Wonder what the next phase will be!?
