Duct tape??
lol joking. I think everyone does it at sometime or another! If you dont usually do it it probably could be because of stress, overtired, paranoid, theres loyts of reasons!
They do hypnosis things for it but dont know of they are a waste of money! Maybe try to keep a persistant sleep routine, with proper wind down time like a bath and a book. If it carries on you could see ur gp as it could be somethinhg like sleep apnea, or maybe medication you are taking?

haha that would be ok if we lived together maxi. Luckily he has chosen to trust me that i have no clue what it meant! I'm just scared i will do it again! and say something worse. i googled sleep talking they do say it is stress related (which i have had a lot of) but i did do it when i was younger too. I like the idea of routine aimee will try the winding down approach, persuade OH to give me a massage would try duct tape but i quite like having skin on my face

I have always talked in my sleep. I also laugh and cry! It really creeps my hubby out sometimes! ;D In my teens I went on holiday with some friends - four of us sharing a room in a guest house. I woke up one morning to hear them talking about someone screaming in the night. Thinking I'd missed something exciting, I asked if they knew who it was. The reply was YOU!! ;D

what about trying to relax your mind and get everything out of your head that you shouldn't say near your OH

My OH sleep talks and walks - well not so much walks but does wierd things like jump out of bed and look behind the headboard!! Twice I've woken up to find him 'trying to stop the bed falling out the window'!! Don't know how to cure it. I just tell him gently to go back to bed.

Sorry Becca no advice- but curious- what did you say? ? I think you could weave this into Fantastic Day somehow!! I do think everyone talks in their sleep to some extent- even dogs, at least my dog does. Think about it, its better than snoring and mostly, its impossible to understand what someone is saying. Sleep walking now, that could be really bad.

erm well .. apparently OH rolled over to cuddle me and i said "get off get off matt will find out, i dont want matt to find out!" matt is OH!
better than saying someone elses name i suppose but i am worried as i'm not 100% over my ex (need to be he was a thingy!!"
my mum came in to my room when i was about 16 cos she thought i had left my tele on but instead she found me sat bolt upright, eye wide open and i shouted "he's black" at her then layed down and carried on sleeping?? Thing is i sleep so deeply i never remember my dreams.

Ooh! yes, i can see that was an awkward moment! Talk about the sub conscious! I shouldn't laugh Becca but you have to agree its a Fantastic Day moment!!! No, seriously, I guess it won't happen again- its really hard to get over an ex even when they are a total thingy. BUt becasue its all out in the open so to speak, I don't think you'll have any more gaffees. One bit of advice though, don;t think of changing career to being a spy or something.

I talk in my sleep all the time OH thinks it's great. He even admitted when I'm really having a good chat in my sleep he asks me questions and half the time he says I answer them but I can't remember a thing
