I live in Edinburgh, and I'd like to be in Wester Ross or North Yorkshire Moors!

I'm in Renfrewshire - I do like it here, but I think I'd rather be in Sardinia but that might be too hot for my boy.... so maybe I should just be happy where I am...

South Yorkshire - it's alright but would prefer it if I was more in the countryside-ish bit than on the edge. TBH anywhere with a lot of grass and open space is fine for me (obviously the open space wouldn't be open for long because it would soon get filled with all the horsies that I'd invite to ove there!)

kinross-shire so not too far away from you Madmarchmare. Do you keep you horse by the dry ski slope - only place I know with horses around Edinburgh?

Lincolnshire. It's good as far as horses and hacking are concerned around here, quite a few yards in a couple of miles radius. We are right next to a large forest.
But if I could live anywhere and take my family it would be Marco Island in Florida or somewhere nearby.

No, don't have a horse at the moment, but am starting to look end of july. Went back to work to earn some money (I retired when I was 51) so that I can keep my horse without having to ask OH for money (he's not at all horsey and doesn't understand my passion). The yard you are talking about is Pentland House Livery (I think!) quite nice, but expensive! The livery yard I want is on the other side of the Pentland Hills, great hacking though! Nice to know where everyone else lives! Sooz

I know someone who lives in Saxilby and used to breed Bernese Mountain dogs, but then Lincolnshire is a big place LOL Sooz

We are only about 12 miles from Saxilby. Don't know the dog breeder though.

I'm in Provence and love it (we left London to come here), although I've always had a secret hankering for the wild lands of Morocco. You can keep Marrakesh though!

I live in the countryside, 8 miles from the beach - NW of N.Ireland. I couldn't live in a more ideal place - All I need now is a wee gee gee to keep me and the family company. x
