I seem to have had a couple of weeks from Hell... really busy at work ( nothing unusual there) but it seems like every little thing that can go wrong has gone wrong.
Project1: public exhibition the stands to put the exhibition material on being couriered to me in time for the exhibition get lost by the couriers, get dleivered 2 days after the exhibitions tooks place. I coped but it was not ideal.
Project 2: printers bugger up the order of the documents has to be started again, missing the deadline by 3 days, again I got the planning authority to allow the extra time, but I feel I let my clients down
Project 3: just found out one of my subbies has cut quite a few corners and we need to go out and re-assess, I'm going to have fun explaining that one to the client.
Dexter got a bit big for his boots and when I asked him to do something he didn't want to do and he double barrelled me, only one foot connected and I still have a cracking bruise on my hip about 3" x5". Thank goodness he is not shod or I think it would have been far worse than a bruise. He was put straight on the lunge and worked for the 1st time in 11 months until he was put back in his place.
Chompy just can't be bottomd at the moment (too much grass I think) and we got the worst dressage score I have ever had in my life (just 40%) at riding club last week... why do I even bother!!!
Dexter then trod on my 14 month old puppys foot, amazingly didn't break it, but him standing on it (accidently) forced the claw from one toe through the pad of the next and left her with a really nasty cut (so far three trips to the vet). She ate a sock that was on the foot to protect it whislt she was in kennels over the weekend and sicked it up in nine piles around the house for me to clean up at 5am this morning.
I went to see my parents at the weekend which we really nice and relaxing, and we went for a walk yesterday across the South Downs, I stepped on a rut awkwardly my bad (previously injured /weak) ankle cracked really loudly and now I am left with a slight sprain, that is OK to walk on on the flat but really sore walking up down hills.
When is this run of bad luck going to end, it seems nothing is going right at the moment.
