...consider a big jump? I find it really wierd but my RI considers a 3ft jump small, cos she is used to jumping mahoosive jumps.
I used to find anything over 2ft large but since I've been having lessons this is getting higher and 2ft 6" I think is heading for being in my comfort zone. Anything bigger then that is definatley a big jump.
Although I wouldn't want to jump more than 2ft at a show atm.

I've only ever jumped singles so I guess height is a bit less of an issue, still, my biggest was about 95cm high (don't know how big that is in inches) and was a sort of oxer/spread. I'm not entirely sure how or why I jumped that...think it must have been George (the borrowed pony) who gave me the courage as he was just so EASY!

Anyting above the ground! Seriously I think horses jump better over two foot than one foot six due to making an effort!

Well, since my jumping confidence has come on, i would say that 75/80cm is just nice but 85/90 would be out of my comfort zone.
I used to near take a panic attack at going over poles on the ground!

I'm fairly happy up to 90cm (just short of 3ft) then I take notice .... and quail!

I find 90cm uprights fine but go jelly at a 75cm spread.
Its all do do with your mental attitude though and practice... you just need someone on the ground to sneak the poles up on you
